User Experience Design Consulting

User experience is not about how a product works on the inside. It is about how it works on the outside, where a person comes into contact with it and has to work with it"

Workflows are a part of Information Architecture. Information architecture is the practice of structuring and presenting information in the most effective way to enhance user interaction. It involves:

  • Understanding Business goals
  • Developing Work Flows
  • Analyzing User Tasks
  • Creating on screen Process
  • Creating foundation for UI Design

Once the audience and goals of your Web solution are defined, its content and activities should be organized. Information architecture (or information organization) is the process of putting things in predictable places or arranging things in an orderly or structured manner.

Workflows are a set of steps that a user must perform to complete a task. Workflows helps us to visualize how a task will be broken down into various screens and also how these screens would be logically connected by a user interface.

This makes it easier to design and detail out screens as a designer would now know what information would need to go where.
